Thomas Manglaviti

Thomas has extensive experience in acquiring multifamily properties with a specific focus on Value-Add investments. Prior to founding IronOak Residential, Thomas served as Senior Vice President of Acquisitions at Sureste Properties, expanding Sureste’s portfolio from 275 to 3,570 multifamily units across the Southeast. Over his career, Thomas has spearheaded the acquisition of 3,789 multifamily units, totaling a value of $280M. More impressively, Thomas has led the disposition of 1,524 multifamily units, totaling $203M, and delivering an average project-level internal rate of return (IRR) of 58.01%.

Thomas started his real estate investment career at American Realty Capital—formerly one of the largest asset managers of nontraded REITs—raising more than $250 million annually for one of the top five territories among more than 90 nationwide.

Thomas holds an MBA from Bryant University and a BS in Business Management from Providence College.
